Introduction
According to the existing arrangement, the members of the School Management Committee of Wah Yan College Kowloon comprise, inter alia, a representative of the alumni (the “Alumni Manager”). Pursuant to the resolutions passed at the Annual General Meeting 2010 of Wah Yan College Kowloon Past Students’ Association (the “Association”), the Alumni Manager shall be elected based on the principle of universal suffrage.
Election
The term of the new Alumni Manager shall commence on 1 November 2012 and the details of the election of alumni manager (the “Election”) are as follows:
Date: 28 October 2012 (Sunday)
Venue: Campus of Wah Yan College Kowloon
Voting will be by way of secret ballot and each eligible voter in Hong Kong shall come to the above venue personally to cast his vote. The voter will be required to produce his Hong Kong Identity Card or other identification documents acceptable to the Election Committee at the poll station.
It was resolved by the Executive Council of the Association that no proxy arrangement will be made for the election.
Election result will be announced as soon as practicable thereafter.
Voter registration
If you wish to vote at the Election, you should register as a voter first. In order to be eligible to register as a voter, the following requirements must be satisfied:
- you shall be an alumni of Wah Yan College Kowloon, which means that you have attended class in Wah Yan College Kowloon for not less than one full academic year and have left the school as at the date hereof; and
- you are over 18 years old on the date of submitting your voter registration form to the Election Committee.
To register as a voter, please complete the attached voter registration form and return the original of the same to the Election Committee on or before 31 August 2012:

If you have already registered as voter in the Election of Alumni Manager 2010, you are not required to register again.
Candidate for Alumni Manager
In order to be eligible to be a candidate for the Alumni Manager, the following requirements must be satisfied:
- the candidate shall be an alumni of Wah Yan College Kowloon, which means that he has attended class in Wah Yan College Kowloon for not less than one full academic year and has left the school as at the date hereof;
- the candidate has duly registered as a voter of the Election;
- the candidate is not a current teaching staff of Wah Yan College Kowloon;
- the candidate has obtained not less than 30 valid nominations from the alumni of Wah Yan College Kowloon (collectively, the “Nominators”) and those Nominators (i) are graduated from not less than 5 different academic years; and (ii) have duly registered as voters of the Election.
In order to register as a candidate, please complete the attached registration form for election (together with the required nominations) and return the original of the same to the Election Committee on or before 30 September 2012:

In the event that:
(1) no valid registration for election is received on or before 30 September 2012, the Executive Council of Wah Yan College Kowloon Past Students’ Association will nominate an alumni who satisfies the above-mentioned eligibility requirements to become the Alumni Manager; or
(2) if only one valid registration for election is received on or before 30 September 2012, that candidate will automatically be elected as the Alumni Manager.
Nomination
Each alumni who has duly registered as a voter may nominate one candidate to run for the Alumni Manager.

校友校董選舉
簡介
根據現行制度，九龍華仁書院之校董會中的眾成員中包括一名校友代表 (以下簡稱 “校友校董”)。根據九龍華仁書院舊生會於2010年週年大會上所通過之決議，校友校董將以普選原則選舉。
選舉
新一屆之校友校董之任期將於2012年11月1日開始，而有關新校友校董之選舉(以下簡稱 “該選舉”) 詳情如下：
日期： 2012年10月28日(星期日)
地點： 九龍華仁書院校園
選舉將以不記名投票方式進行，每一位於香港的合資格選民將需要親自前往上述地點投票。選民於投票站必須出示香港身份證或其他選舉委員會接受的身份證明文件。
根據舊生會執行委員會的決議，是次選舉將不會有授權委託書安排。
選舉結果將於選舉結束後在最快可行情況下公佈。
選民登記
閣下若希望於是次選舉中投票，便必須先登記為選民。成為選民必須滿足下列條件：
- 閣下為九龍華仁書院校友，即曾於九龍華仁書院就讀不少於一個完整學年的已離校人士；及
- 閣下於提交選民登記表格之日已年滿18歲。
若閣下希望登記為選民，請填妥選民登記表格，並根據表格中的指示於2012年8月31日或之前送交至下列地址予選舉委員會：

若閣下已於2010年校友校董選舉中登記為選民，則不需要再次登記。
參選人
若任何人士希望參選校友校董，必須滿足下列條件：
- 該人士為九龍華仁書院校友，即曾於九龍華仁書院就讀不少於一個完整學年的已離校人士；
- 該人士已經正確地登記為該選舉之選民；
- 該人士並非九龍華仁書院的在職教員；
- 該人士已取得不少於30位九龍華仁書院校友的書面提名，而作出提名的校友必須 (i) 來自不少於5個不同學年；及 (ii) 已正確地登記為該選舉之選民。
若閣下希望參選校友校董，請填妥參選表格，並連同所需的提名表格於2012年9月30日或之前送交至下列地址予選舉委員會：

若於指定的提名期間：
- 並無任何合資格的校友參選校友校董，則由九龍華仁書院舊生會執行委員會負責向校方提名一位符合校友校董候選人資格的人士擔任校董會校友代表；或
- 只有一名合資格的校友參選校友校董，該名校友將自動當選校友校董。
提名
每一位已正確地登記為選民的校友均可提名一位校友參選校友校董。
