The alumni at the Wah Yan College, Kowloon Past Students’ Association would like to congratulate Rev. Fr. Stephen Chow, S.J., our school supervisor, for his holy appointment as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Hong Kong.
We are most grateful to him for his selfless dedication to Wah Yan, where he taught us that we can lift ourselves out of ignorance, inspired us to become men for and with others, and set us an example on the importance of ‘unity in plurality’.
While we pray for his mission in Hong Kong to go well, we are also confident of it, for God loves us as we are, not what we ought to be.
